Rajkot district is one of the 33 districts of the Indian state of Gujarat. Rajkot city is the administrative headquarters of the district. It is the third-most advanced district in Gujarat.

This district is surrounded by Morbi district in north, Surendranagar and Botad districts in east, Amreli and Junagadh districts in south and Porbandar Jamnagar district in west. The district occupies an area of 11203 km²

1. Khambhalida Caves

A good visit for archaeology lovers. Very natural place with greenery and very small river nearby. This is one of the most famous place where it introducing Buddhist Caves, to explore this place by watching statues of different honorable persons by entering from caves its too much enjoying and eagerness to know something more about Buddhism Sampraday. There are 15 small caves situated near the Khambhalida Caves. The cave on the left hand side is huge and is open in the front. It goes deep inside. During the daytime tourists see a lot of light and air.

Aji Dam is very peaceful place, it’s located at 20 min distance from Rajkot from bhaktinagar circle. Water level in dam is good and one can enjoy bath over its bank. But it’s deep in centre. Well amusement park is also there nearby dam, you can go there with small kids. It gives enjoyment to elders as well as younger. Even old aged people likes it as its peaceful place so.
